Revenues for the quarter were $14,067,000, approximately a 17.8% increase from $11,946,000 for the same period in 2018. "We are pleased to report stronger second quarter revenues than a year ago and as we have reported over the last few quarters, we continue to see positive signs in the marketplace," said Kenneth D. Trbovich, CEO and Chairman of the Board. "While we have experienced the anticipated short-term effects related to the continuing implementation of our new ERP system, we are excited to realize the full benefits of the ERP system which puts both the ATG and CPG on one platform. Additionally, we continue to invest in expanding our manufacturing capacity and better utilizing shared production assets across both segments which we believe will lead to improved operating efficiencies and higher overhead absorption through increased sales."
The Company is composed of two groups – the ATG and the CPG. The ATG primarily designs, develops and manufactures servo controls and other components for various commercial and government applications (i.e., aircraft, jet engines, missiles, manufacturing equipment, etc.). The CPG designs and manufactures cutlery, bayonets, pocket knives, machetes and combat knives, survival, sporting, agricultural knives and other edged products for both commercial and government applications.
