Seibert's Chooses First Things First of Greater Richmond For BP 'Fueling Communities' Grant
Richmond-based Seibert's Family of Companies places $6,500 grant with city-wide teaching program to help strengthen families
RICHMOND, Va., Feb. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Seibert's Family of Companies announced today that it successfully applied to the BP "Fueling Communities" program and received a $6,500 grant on behalf of First Things First of Greater Richmond. The "Fueling Communities" initiative provides grant donations to local BP business owners to help them support a local organization of their choosing. First Things First is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening families through education, collaboration and mobilization. Its primary focuses are encouraging healthy marriages; connecting dads with their kids; and teaching youth relationship skills.

Seibert's Family of Companies – which includes Seibert's Towing, Seibert's Wholesale Fuels, Seibert's Body Shop, Seibert's Auto Auction and 'Berts Buck Stop – is always looking for new and innovative ways to positively impact the Richmond community. Recently, they launched the Toast'd Tow program: a service from Seibert's Towing, designed to get holiday revelers home safely. Previously, they company has contributed to a wide variety of community based programs such as The Mayor's Youth Academy, Toys for Tots and Food Bank collections.
