Securus Announces Free Upgrades to ConnectUs - the Industry's Only Inmate Operating Platform
All current video visitation customers will receive free upgrades to ConnectUs which provides additional automation tools and inmate services
DALLAS, July 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Securus Technologies, a leading provider of civil and criminal justice technology solutions for public safety, investigation, corrections and monitoring, announced it is offering ConnectUs – the industry's only inmate operating platform – for free.
ConnectUs is the most robust and feature-rich inmate platform in the market, allowing inmates access to an unlimited set of applications as approved by each correctional facility. This new platform can allow inmate access to features and services never available before, including Securus' Calling Application, Video Visitation Application, Inmate Grievance Application, Job Search Application, Inmate Education Application, Digital Inmate Handbook Application and numerous other communication and self-help services. With the free software upgrade, the ConnectUs platform fully governs what applications and services are available to the inmates to ensure that correctional facilities have full control over the content. There are many additional capabilities inherent in the platform including dynamic application display by day, time, and inmate location and a digital inmate bulletin board, allowing correctional staff to communicate with inmates faster. The interface can be made available in any of 11 different languages.
