DETROIT, Feb. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Kolene Corporation announced the promotion of W. Scott Schilling to President of the Corporation effective January 11, 2016. Schilling succeeds Roger L. Shoemaker who retains the role of CEO and Chairman of the Board.

Schilling, 51, holds a Bachelor of Science from Purdue University and a Master of Science from Central Michigan University. He joined Kolene from Paragon Technologies where he was an Executive Vice President responsible for all commercial activities. Prior to that, he served in various sales management and business development roles with leading global semiconductor companies, most notably as a Director at STMicroelectronics from 2000-2011. He was elected a company officer in January of 2012. Mr. Schilling and his wife Rebecca have three children and reside in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
