Due to high client demand in Asia-Pacific, Savvis is expanding its cloud infrastructure services offering to this region. Savvis Symphony Open will be the second cloud solution available from its Singapore data center, complementing the broad portfolio of managed and virtualized hosting and network services that Savvis currently offers to enterprises and the public sector in Singapore.
Key Business Benefits of Savvis Symphony Open for Asian Enterprises:

- Respond to seasonality and unexpected events -- Scalable resources are available on-demand and with flexible business terms
- Greater control and on-demand -- Self service management and reporting through a client portal and on-demand provisioning to provide greater control
- Testing and development made easy -- Ability to dial-up pools of temporary resources, resulting in cost control and the opportunity to avoid large capital expenditures
- Control IT costs while maintaining QoS -- Mix-and-match hosting models allow clients to cost effectively meet application requirements
"We are pleased to add Savvis Symphony Open cloud infrastructure to our growing portfolio of managed IT services to meet the needs of enterprises across Asia-Pacific," said Suan Soon Cheng, managing director for Savvis Asia Pacific. "New and existing clients can now benefit from Savvis Symphony Open's on-demand, dynamically scalable resources allowing them to control their IT costs and tailor their usage and set-up to meet their individual needs."
