San Antonio, TX: Top level companies join forces to offer high quality tank car cleaning and repairs

Rescar is the largest provider of railcar maintenance services in North America with thirty-five (35) on-site mini shops and thirty (30) mobile locations. Currently, Rescar has five (5) major full service plants (Channelview, TX; DuBois, PA; Gordon, GA; Longview, TX; Orange, TX) for heavy repair, tank car compliance testing, wide product based cleaning and coating application. The CRU Railcar Services joint effort is adding a new Fast Track location to the existing four (4) Fast Track locations (Rosemount, MN; Savanna, IL; Springfield, MA; Wilmington, NC) which are designated for light repair/project work and on-line bad order Damaged and Defective Car Tracking (DDCT).

The CRU Group, consisting of numerous companies that service the oil industry, is known for its boutique-like approach to project-building and their extreme vetting of partners and customers. CRU Victoria Investments developed the first 3^rd party frac sand silo facility in Texas in 2011, which currently services Schlumberger. CRU Trading Company operates a fleet of five hundred (500) tank cars and has been providing turnkey trans-border transportation solutions for clients such as PMI, NuStar and Rio Energy since 2008. CRU Refined Mexico is the largest asphalt importer in northern Mexico. 

The group's latest project was the creation of CRU Railcar Services, a state-of-the-art tank car cleaning facility offering extremely fast turn-times and conforming with the toughest inspection standards. CRS Marketing Manager, Pedro Berruecos, commented "Since the beginning, it became clear that a partnership with Rescar would allow the facility to become the preferred repair location for tank car operators and lessors due to our access to both UP and BNSF."
