Samadamsalliance.org Reveals Expanded Communications Focus for Chicago-based Free-Market Organization
CHICAGO, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Sam Adams Alliance (SAM), a non-profit organization seeking to increase public awareness of free-market principles and policies, today announced the launch of its new website, www.samadamsalliance.org. The website reveals the Chicago-based organization's expanded mission and focus on strategic communications and marketing, while offering visitors greater access to SAM resources, tools, and content.
"We've always believed that free-market ideas win, and that people, not politicians, should make the choices that affect their lives. Our website reflects that belief," said Sam Adams Chairman Eric O'Keefe. "The communications focus we've built at Sam Adams is something free-market activists and thinkers have been thirsting for, so we're thrilled to offer our team's expertise in that area."
The Sam Adams Alliance was founded in 2006, and previously focused on new media training while serving as an incubator for other free-market organizations.
In its expanded mission, SAM has already begun working with individuals and organizations around the country who support free-market ideas to raise awareness of free-market principles and policies, and build capacity in marketing and public relations. These capacities include marketing, media outreach, market research, and overall communications strategy.
"We want people of all political stripes who want to explore the subject of freedom – individual liberty, economic opportunity, and the size of government – to bookmark www.samadamsalliance.org," said Yvonne Ralsky, Executive Director at Sam Adams Alliance. "SAM's new site will be the go-to place for learners and believers in the free-market system; and a portal to services in marketing and communications never before offered to free-market thinkers."
Details of SAM's premier event, The Sammies, can also be found on the new site. The Sammies is an annual contest and awards show honoring the best citizen leaders, including bloggers, videographers, government watchdogs, and other activists. This year's awards are scheduled for April 16 at the Chicago Cultural Center.
The new Sam Adams Alliance website has been designed to be more user-friendly and content rich. The site will allow visitors to learn about and engage with all of SAM's activities, find the latest news and information, and access many of the organization's training tools. The site will also feature the new official SAM blog, The Point, as well as a new podcast series, Engaging Democracy with Chairman Eric O'Keefe.
Previously, Sam Adams Alliance also helped launch Wikipedia-style websites Judgepedia, Ballotpedia, and Sunshine Review, as well as American Majority, and Franklin Center for Government and Accountability.
