Saleen Unveils Heritage Collection, Celebrates Racing Legends by Creating Legendary Cars
CORONA, Calif., Aug. 19, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Saleen Automotive, Inc. (OTCQB: SLNN) (the "Company"), an American specialty manufacturer of high performance vehicles, technical performance parts, lifestyle accessories and apparel, is pleased to announce the unveiling of the Company's new "Heritage" line of automobiles which debuted this past Saturday at the famed Laguna Seca raceway.
Amid abundant media speculation as to what automotive legend Steve Saleen might reveal at the event, Saleen surprised most in attendance by debuting three of the most compelling specialty vehicles on the modern market, each with an ancestry that extends beyond the racing royalty of Steve Saleen and invokes the legacies of some of the car world's true luminaries. The trilogy creates Saleen's new Heritage line.
"As we proudly debut Barracuda, Camaro, and of course, Mustang editions, we wanted to also pay tribute to some of the amazing drivers who inspire my work," said Steve Saleen, CEO, Saleen Automotive. "I believe we've paid homage and given the discerning automotive consumer a selection of dream cars to choose from."
The Saleen Heritage collection includes the Saleen Mark Donohue Camaro, the Saleen George Follmer Mustang, and the Swede Savage Barracuda.
"And we're not done yet," Saleen added. "We intend to continue to expand and to bring new and compelling offerings to the automotive world, both in state of the art vehicles and technical parts. Stay tuned."
