BALTIMORE, May 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Software monetization leader SafeNet, Inc. today announced that the Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries, presented the company with a 2013 CODiE Award for its Sentinel Licensing Development Kit (LDK) in the Digital Rights Management Solution category. Sentinel LDK is the third offering from the Sentinel family to win a prestigious CODiE Award—the company's Sentinel Cloud Services won in 2012 and its Sentinel HASP won in 2008, both in the DRM Solution category.

The CODiE Award judges are responsible for selecting the finalists and SIIA members vote on the finalist products; scores from both rounds are tabulated to select the winners.
