Safe Life Adds David Dennis to Board of Directors
Accomplished Executive Brings More than 25 Years of Corporate, Finance and Investment Strategy Experience to Antimicrobial Technology Company
SAN DIEGO, Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Safe Life Corp., an innovative antimicrobial company dedicated to developing novel technologies and products that help prevent the spread of infection and disease, today announced the appointment of David Dennis to its board of directors. An accomplished business veteran and venture capitalist with more than 25 years of experience managing finance and corporate strategy for a variety of companies, Dennis becomes the seventh member of Safe Life's distinguished board.

Dennis is the founder of Los Angeles-based strategic consulting firm Evanston Advisors Inc. He previously served as managing director of Pacific Venture Group, a healthcare venture capital firm with a $210 million investment portfolio. During his career, Dennis also has held executive management positions at companies such as Tenet Healthcare Inc.; Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities, Inc.; and Merrill Lynch Inc. In addition, he spent 15 years on the board of directors at Westwood One, Inc., most recently as chairman of the company's strategic review committee.

Dennis holds a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from San Diego State University and a master's in business administration in finance and corporate strategy from the University of California, Los Angeles. He spent four years in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour of duty in Vietnam in 1969, and three years in the Defense Attache Office at the American Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal. He was awarded a Bronze Star Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, and Air Force Commendation Medal in recognition of his service in the U.S. military.
