SOUTHLAKE, Texas, May 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabre Corporation (NASDAQ: SABR), the leading technology provider to the global travel industry, recently held a four-day conference to drive thought-provoking dialogue with approximately 500 attendees from across the travel industry.
More than 40 innovations across Sabre's solutions portfolio were spotlighted at the conference. Attendees had one-on-one access to Sabre experts and the opportunity to explore new and existing Sabre solutions.
Sabre Airline Solutions Global Conference featured influential speakers from the airline and adjacent industries. Discussions centered on topics and challenges such as delivering a smarter customer experience, leveraging data and analytics, and using technology solutions to drive revenue strategies.
Sabre CEO Tom Klein shared some of the key opportunities defining the future of the airline business. Klein anticipated how several technologies, such as biometrics, artificial intelligence, and electronic bag tags, will have an out-sized impact for airlines to achieve a customer-centric approach and stay ahead on consumers' expectations. "The farther a business can get ahead of customer needs, the quicker the customer can realize the value of the service – and the faster the business can recognize the revenue from customer purchases and adoption," stated Klein.
Dana Jones, SVP and Chief Marketing Officer at Sabre Airline Solutions, reiterated the importance of knowing the customer and how real-time data and insights fuel airline business growth. Jones reinforced Sabre's commitment to innovation by announcing several new products including four strategic solution launches in 2016:
