Sabre Energy Services Announces Executive Management Additions
CANONSBURG, Pa., April 13, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Sabre Energy Services, LLC announced today that they have significantly expanded their executive team in response to the rapidly accelerating demand for water treatment and water management services. Prior to their presentation at the Examining Cutting Edge Technologies and Best Practices to Optimize Water Sourcing, Maximize Re-Use and Efficiently Manage Flowback Water in Shale Gas Production Conference focused on the Marcellus Shale gas water management-related issues, Chairman and Chief Technology Officer John Y. Mason and Chief Executive Officer Steven D. Oesterle announced the addition of three senior executives with extensive experience in the industry, all of whom have previously been in leadership positions at Halliburton/Baroid.
Charles Mowrey is joining Sabre as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Mowrey has a wide knowledge of oil field fluids operations and industry challenges. He joined Baroid Drilling Fluids, later acquired by Halliburton Energy Services, in 1995. He was a Field Service Engineer for both land and offshore operations, and later served as Engineering Manager and Quality Coordinator for the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Mowrey also worked with a task force in Houston to establish the Baroid Global Knowledge Management system and subsequently became a Knowledge Broker for the Baroid technical community. After his tenure as Knowledge Broker, he was named Product Champion for Baroid's real-time hydraulics modeling software and their Clay-Free High Performance Invert Emulsion fluids technologies. He later served as Country Manager for Baroid's Oman operations based in Muscat, Oman and was subsequently appointed the Regional Technical Manager for Eurasia Pacific. He most recently held the position of Vice President of International Sales for Cubility, an oil & gas technology company. He holds a degree in Business Administration along with certificates from Texas A&M University's Mays Business School in Financial Leadership and Leadership Development.
Kevin Paylow is now Vice President of Strategic Marketing for Sabre. Mr. Paylow has eleven years of marketing, collaboration, innovation and administrative experience in the oilfield services industry. His roles have included market analysis, performance measurement, knowledge management, strategic workforce management, and most recently, Innovation and Commercialization Leader at Halliburton. Most roles were at a global level, supporting organizations of up to 5,000 employees with billions in annual revenue. He earned his MBA from the University of Alaska - Anchorage and an executive certificate in Strategy and Innovation from MIT's Sloan School of Management.
Shane Motty will also be joining Sabre, as Vice President of Operations and Infrastructure. Mr. Motty's background consists of extensive knowledge and experience in wellbore clean-outs, completion fluids and drilling fluids, as well as their associated operations. Over his 15-year career in the Drilling and Exploration sector, he has coordinated operations with Francis Drilling Fluids, Schlumberger/Dowell Drilling Fluids, Halliburton/Baroid Drilling Fluids, Baroid of Nigeria Limited, and Baroid Completion Fluids. In addition, he has overseen and managed deepwater operations in the Gulf of Mexico area as well as Nigeria. Mr. Motty is also a United States ARMY Desert Storm/Desert Shield Veteran.
