RiverFront Investment Group Announces Several Promotions within Business Development Group

RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- RiverFront Investment Group, LLC, a Richmond, Virginia-based global asset manager utilizing a dynamic investment approach with uncommon transparency, is pleased to announce several organization changes and staff promotions within its Business Development Group.

The following professionals will continue to report to Pete Quinn, RiverFront's President:

Karrie Southall has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer as a reflection of her continued leadership and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. She will continue to serve on the firm's Executive Committee.

Stuart Porterfield has been promoted to Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.  Since joining Riverfront over 6 years ago, Stuart has systematically built a highly functioning team and will lead our Regional Directors as we continue to expand our product offering and distribution reach. 

The following members of Karrie Southall's team are also being promoted:

Ellie Perkins Johnson has been promoted to Senior Compliance Officer. Since joining RiverFront, she has done an exceptional job of managing a fast-paced, high volume environment while also developing solid working relationships with both marketing and investment professionals.

Will Wall has been promoted to Manager of Trading and Operations. He has become a recognized figure in the ETF Strategist space and will continue to represent RiverFront at numerous trading roundtables and industry events.

The following members of Stuart Porterfield's team are also being promoted:

Bart Farinholt will assume the title of Director of Sales and add the responsibility of running the Internal Sales team. In addition, he will continue his efforts to expand RiverFront's presence in the Independent Broker Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory channels.

Beth Pettler Johnson has been promoted to Director of Marketing. Beth will focus on continuing to build the RiverFront brand and will be responsible for all marketing and communication.
