Ritchie Bros. to sell largest Manitowoc crawler crane in Company history in Denver public auction
More than 300 cranes featured in upcoming unreserved auctions around the world - the largest is a 440-ton Manitowoc crawler crane being sold in Denver
DENVER, CO, June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ - Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers (NYSE and TSX: RBA), the world's largest industrial auctioneer, will sell a large quantity of late model cranes along with more than 1,200 equipment items and trucks in an multi-million dollar unreserved public auction next week (June 10 - 11) at the Company's permanent auction site in Denver, Colorado. A 2006 Manitowoc 440-ton Series 1, 2, & 3 self-erecting crawler crane will be sold in Denver next week - the largest Manitowoc crawler crane to ever be featured in one of the Company's unreserved public auctions. Ritchie Bros. also has more than 300 cranes featured in upcoming unreserved auctions around the world. The current auction inventory of cranes is available at www.rbauction.com.
The Manitowoc 16000 440-ton capacity, 500-horsepower engine crawler crane being sold in Denver features a boom made up of ten different sections and spanning a height of 315 ft when fully extended. The lifting capacity of crane on the main boom is 295 ft and up to 432 ft with a luffing jib. The Manitowoc crawler crane will be sold with a luffing jib. Other cranes being sold on Day 1 (June 10) of the auction include:
- A 2007 Grove RT9130E 130-ton rough terrain crane - A 2008 Grove RT890E 90-ton rough terrain crane - A 2006 Grove TMS990E 90-ton 8x4x4 hydraulic truck crane - A 2007 Grove RT760E 60-ton rough terrain crane - A 2008 Grove RT650 50-ton rough terrain crane - A 2001 Terex T560 60-ton 8x4x4 hydraulic truck crane
The auction will also feature a large selection of construction equipment and transportation items. Construction equipment being sold on Day 1 includes: wheel loaders, hydraulic excavators, motor graders, motor scrapers, loader backhoes, compactors, telescopic forklifts and aggregate, crushing and paving equipment. A wide assortment of trucks including concrete pump, dump, mixer, water, van, flatbed and boom trucks will be sold on Day 2 (June 11).
All items will be sold to the highest bidders on auction day - regardless of price - with no minimum bids or reserve prices.
