Founding members of the Kanzi Partner Program include over 20 companies that cover the entire automotive HMI delivery value chain including leading Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies, SoC and GPU vendors, operating system vendors, design studios and other automotive technology companies. The program is a unique way of networking with other companies using Rightware's Kanzi software. Several Kanzi Partner Program members are showcasing Rightware Kanzi based technology at CES 2016, including:
Rightware and QNX Software Systems Limited, a subsidiary of BlackBerry Limited and a global leader in software platforms for connected embedded systems, today unveiled their latest collaboration: a next-generation digital instrument cluster for the QNX reference vehicle. Rightware created a high-fidelity digital instrument cluster with crosswalk notifications, forward collision warnings, local speed limits, and turn-by-turn navigation, running on the QNX® Neutrino® OS. Global automotive supplier Visteon Corporation is showcasing various solutions built with Rightware Kanzi, including Visteon's Domain Controller SmartCoreTM platform and a fully reconfigurable instrument cluster based on the LightscapeTM D platform.
OpenSynergy, a cutting edge company specializing in embedded automotive software solutions in the vehicle cockpit, will be demonstrating a solution called "Shared GPU" at CES 2016. The "Shared-GPU" feature allows graphic-intensive software applications running independently in separate virtualized Linux partitions, to share the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) on the Freescale i.MX6 platform. Applications can access all functions provided by the OpenGL ES 2.0 API.
