Retail Solutions Earns Spot on Inc. 500|5000 List of Fast-Growing, Private Companies for Third Year

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Nov. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Retail Solutions Inc., the leading provider of retail-data technology for the consumer-products industry, has earned a coveted spot on the Inc. 500|5000 list of the nation's fastest-growing private companies for the third year in a row. The widely tracked list represents the most comprehensive look at a key segment of the U.S. economy and validates RSi's position as a market leader in providing "big data" analytic solutions to the U.S.'s largest consumer brands.

Retail Solutions, with 2011 revenue of $24.7 million, was credited by Inc. with strong revenue growth and the addition of 153 jobs over three years. The company was founded in 2003 and provides SaaS-based technology to help Fortune 50 companies and others track product sales and inventory in near-real time, which boosts sales and lowers costs across the supply chain.

Earlier this month, Retail Solutions also ranked #49 on the San Jose Business Journal's annual list of expanding private companies in Silicon Valley. Other companies on the list—which ranked entrants based on revenue growth from 2009 to 2011—included well-known Silicon Valley names including Facebook, Marketo, Palo Alto Networks and Guidewire Software. Three of those companies have since gone public.
