Residential Mortgage of South Carolina General Manager Kevin Breeland Is Elected 2010 RESPRO Chairman

WASHINGTON, March 18 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Real Estate Services Providers Council, Inc.'s (RESPRO) Board of Directors has elected Kevin Breeland, General Manager, Residential Mortgage of South Carolina, LLP, as 2010 RESPRO Chairman.

Kevin Breeland has been in mortgage banking for 32 years, with 22 of those years in Anchorage, Alaska and the last two and half years in Charleston, South Carolina after his company, Pacific Alaska Mortgage, merged with Residential Mortgage.  He previously served as President of the Alaska Mortgage Bankers Association, the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Housing Opportunities Committee, and the Charleston Trident Association of Realtors Legislative Committee. Kevin has been previously involved with State Task Group with the Mortgage Bankers Association, is a Director for the Food Bank of Alaska, sponsor of youth sports and supporter of The Boys and Girls Club, Little League Baseball Coach, and sponsor for Baseball in the Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina Park and Recreation Department. Kevin is married to Melissa and has three children, two grown and one still at home.

The Board also elected Tim Wilson, President of Affiliated Businesses of Long & Foster Companies in Chantilly, Virginia as RESPRO Vice Chair for 2010.

Other 2010 RESPRO officers elected include President Susan E. Johnson, Executive Director of RESPRO in Washington, D.C.; Secretary Brian Levy, Partner of Katten & Temple LLP in Chicago, Illinois; and Treasurer George Eastment, III, Vice Chair of Long & Foster Companies in Chantilly, Virginia.

2009 RESPRO Chairman Rich Macaluso, Chairman and COO of Orange Coast Title Company (OCT) and 2008 RESPRO Chairman Ron Peltier, Chairman and CEO of HomeServices, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minnesota will continue to serve on RESPRO's leadership through its Executive Committee.
