SAN FRANCISCO, May 6, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Huddle Up! Today registration officially opens for the Super Fan Chase, an ultimate sports scavenger hunt involving up to 50 local destinations and famous landmarks, expecting to attract hundreds of thousands of fans who are gearing up for the next pro football championship this coming February in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Super Fan Chase (SFC) is encouraged for both local residents or out of town guests who want to explore some of the best attractions, rolling hills and historic architecture, all while enjoying the sports atmosphere and chances to win prizes as well as meet with some of the most recognized celebrity figures. The University of California, Berkeley campus will be among the 50 destinations of the SFC. Kabam Field at California Memorial Stadium will be the starting point where all contestants have an opportunity to begin this contest at a state of the art venue, featuring stunning views overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge, the city of San Francisco and other extraordinary attractions.
Tickets for the Super Fan Chase are $50 for the first 250 fans and can be purchased online by visiting www.SuperFanChase.com
A widespread collaborative effort has been in the works for several months and has won over businesses, chambers, city officials, and more, as many understand the motivation for connecting fans, and elevating businesses, while doing so during a sports environment that attracts millions worldwide. Additionally, the Super Fan Chase will draw attention and fundraising support to pro player charities and local non-profit organizations such as the NFL Alumni Northern California Chapter.
"As an NFL player, I see a great benefit in supporting a project like the Super Fan Chase that will both draw awareness to a cause as well as further create interaction amongst sports fans," states San Francisco 49ers Anquan Boldin.
Fans are encouraged to plan now, especially understanding that San Francisco is an attractive and highly anticipated destination for the biggest sporting event of the year. The Super Fan Chase project is preparing for the adventure traveler, marathon runner, or just someone who appreciates a great sports environment with a charitable component.
