RedSky E911 Manager® Completes Cisco Interoperability Verification Testing with Cisco Developer Network
CHICAGO, March 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- To take advantage of the expanding role of the network, RedSky Technologies, the leader in E911 solutions, today announced that its flagship product, E911 Manager®, has successfully completed interoperability testing* with Cisco Unified Communications Manager.
E911 Manager® integrates with Cisco Unified Communications Manager to track the detailed location of all types of phones on the enterprise network including analog, SIP, H.323, WiFi and softphones. The application then automatically updates the location information used by call takers in public safety answering points (PSAPs) throughout the country to dispatch emergency response. E911 Manager® can also be deployed in a mixed PBX/call server environment, integrating with most major call servers.
The Cisco Developer Network unites Cisco with third-party developers of hardware and software to deliver tested interoperable solutions to joint customers, harnessing the power and intelligence of the network. As a Registered Developer, RedSky offers a complementary product offering and has started to collaborate with Cisco to meet the needs of joint customers.
With offerings such as E911 Manager®, customers can more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices, or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance, and management of their Cisco network.
