In this game, players gain rewards by protecting their village from vicious zombies. Players can team up or fight against other players for bonus rewards. Players fire their weapons with RealControl 2.0, a proprietary input controller developed by Realiteer. The game uses the smartphone's camera to detect the position of the controller and the trigger clicks (See tutorial video for detailed instructions).
BattleZ VR is compatible with most Android and Apple smartphones. However, players will need a VR headset compatible with their smartphones. Realiteer provides its DIY VR headset and motion-tracking control at http://www.realiteer.com. We encourage players to build their own RealControl 2.0 using our blueprint (http://www.realiteer.com/diy).
Realiteer will showcase BattleZ at Maker Faire (http://makerfaire.com/bay-area/) this weekend in San Mateo, California. (Booth number is 55051). Stop by to play this awesome game and for a chance to win a free VR headset!
