Randy Steven Ministries Launches He Restores My Soul Book For The Religious and Mainstream Reader
Personal Account Addresses Sexual Addiction, Healing and Redemption
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Author Randy Dean has dedicated his life to the restoration and support of pastors and leaders who have fallen and those struggling with addictive behaviors within the church and has today announced the official launch of his book, He Restores My Soul. The book discusses and addresses his experiences with sexual addiction issues as a pastor. The book draws on Dean's own experience with his addictive behaviors, and his struggle to restore his faith and the relationships with his family.
"I think sometimes the church is challenged with addressing the issues that surround sexual addiction and abuse and its influence within the faith and its leadership," Dean says. "Transparency in this area is critical. If our pastors are transparent, then those who follow them will be encouraged to be transparent, thus stimulating healthier families, healthier congregations, and healthier communities."
The book is also a tool to providing support and practical principles that encourage not only transparency, but to encourage dialog about this issue that has proven to be a destructive force that rips away at the fiber of relationships and faith. It is his goal to offer support and non-denominational guidance to give families and pastors the help needed to restore them to a healthy place in their relationships, homes and the ministries they serve.
"Many have found the principles outlined in the book as a very useful tool in addressing this addiction and helping to promote a much healthier approach to their relationship and faith in God, as well as their relationship with others," says Dean.
