Quality Improvement Funding Available for Health Care Providers in Ohio
Enrollment deadline for Ohio Physicians extended to December 16, 2016.
ANN ARBOR, Mich., Nov. 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Medical Advantage Group is offering qualified Ohio practices grant funding for practice transformation and quality reporting necessary for optimum reimbursement under the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA). Funded by CMS and a part of the Great Lakes Practice Transformation Network (GLPTN), the program will assist physicians and other healthcare providers prepare for new payment models. The enrollment deadline for qualified Ohio physicians has been extended to December 16, 2016.
The program is available to providers who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Primary and specialty care physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and respective ambulatory practices.
- Providers must see Medicare and/or Medicaid patients
- PQRS reporting is required
- Providers cannot currently participate in: Pioneer ACO, Medicare Shared Savings Program, or Multi-Payer Advanced Primary Care Program
- Providers cannot be in the Ohio Comprehensive Primary Care Initiative
- Providers cannot be in more than one CMS funded practice transformation network.
Medical Advantage Group will support qualifying Ohio practices with a dedicated Quality Improvement Advisor who will assess the current state of the practice in terms of quality improvement goals and priorities in alignment with future incentive and reporting programs.
