Qorvis MSLGROUP Expands Staff To Support Growth
Washington PR Powerhouse Brings Three Key Hires On-Board Following Spike in New Business
WASHINGTON, June 4, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Qorvis MSLGROUP announced three new PR and digital professionals have joined the company. The additions are critical to meeting growing demands from significant new business revenue Qorvis MSLGROUP recently generated.
Lisa Clayton joins Qorvis MSLGROUP as a senior account supervisor to manage public affairs and public diplomacy campaigns for several key clients. Clayton has held prominent communications positions for close to 15 years, most recently as the Ministerial Advisor at the Ministry of State for Communications in Bahrain. Previously, she served as advisor for International Media for Information Authority Affairs (IAA) and was as assistant professor of art history and film studies for Virginia Commonwealth University.
"As both our domestic and international public affairs business continues to grow, unparalleled public diplomacy expertise like Lisa's is a must-have," said Michael Petruzzello, public affairs practice director for MSLGROUP North America and president of Qorvis MSLGROUP. "Attracting top talent is an important part of our growth strategy and we're thrilled to welcome Lisa to the Qorvis MSLGROUP family."
Spencer Ross Joynt comes to Qorvis MSLGROUP as a graphic designer and the latest member of the company's expanding creative services team. Ross Joynt is a designer and illustrator, specializing in advertising and creative art direction with a reputation for tackling brand-related challenges in unconventional ways. His previous brand experience includes Chevron, Phillips 66, The Four Seasons, WorldVision, and SOMA Beverage Co.
After working at Qorvis MSLGROUP for nearly two years as a junior video editor while finishing a specialized degree at American University, Tyler Osborne joins the video production team full-time. Osborne will focus on meeting the significant increase in video production demand from both existing and new Qorvis MSLGROUP clients.
"Our creative services are in high-demand at a time when businesses are looking for engaging ways to tell their stories," said Petruzzello. "The arrival of Spencer and Tyler strengthens our digital team and reinforces our historically strong creative capabilities."
Recent new business wins follow a swell of activity at the company. Publicis Groupe recently acquired 100 percent of Qorvis Communications, one of the most respected independent public relations firms in the United States. The agency became part of MSLGROUP, Publicis Groupe's strategic communications and engagement network.
