QFC Recalls Broccoli Raisin Salad for Undeclared Allergen
SEATTLE, July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Quality Food Center (QFC) stores said today it is recalling select containers of Broccoli Raisin Salad because they may contain walnuts not listed on the label.
Customers should return the product to stores for a full refund or replacement.
People who are allergic to walnuts could have a serious or life-threatening reaction if they consume this product. For consumers who are not allergic to walnuts, there is no safety issue with the product.
The Broccoli Raisin Salad being recalled was sold by the pound in the deli service department of some QFC stores on July 10. This is the only date that is affected.
The containers were sold in select QFC stores in Oregon and Washington.
QFC is using its Customer Recall Notification system that alerts customers who may have purchased recalled Class 1 products through register receipt tape messages and phone calls.
