Put Some Bling Into Spring With The LaRo Clip -- The Season's Hottest Accessory
TENAFLY, N.J., April 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Women are making the season sparkle by adding some bling to their spring wardrobes. Retailers can't keep LaRo Clips in stock, thanks to savvy shoppers who recognize that one versatile accessory can put a new twist on many outfits.

Made of Swarovski crystals, the LaRo Clip employs unique technology to safely attach to pearls, beads, clothing, and accessories. It attaches without piercing the fabric and does not slip or slide, making it the perfect enhancement for delicate silk scarves, fine jewelry, or formal dresses.
"The clips are the ultimate accessory to add punch and a focal point," says Allison Priebe Brooks, owner of Queen Bee, a retail and wholesale jewelry design business in Alexandria, Va. "First Lady Michelle Obama has really brought back the broach, so you will be seeing more of this look in the spring and summer. The LaRo Clip is much more versatile than the traditional broach since you don't need to worry about damaging the fabric or jewelry."
Dorine Dabby, owner of The Little Shop in the Bronx, NY, carries the line of clips in her fancy occasion and sportswear store because they have so many uses. "Attaching one to a small dressy handbag really makes a statement," says Dabby. "We've also been showing customers how to use the clip with other accessories, like holding a scarf in place to give it a dressier look."
Bridal stores report that the clips have become a popular bridesmaid gift. "Brides are giving each bridesmaid a clip to attach to the strap of her dress," says Laura Gisser, co-founder of LaRo Clips.
"We've seen women fasten the clips to barrettes, umbrellas, belts, even boots," says Gisser's sister Roxana Surrey, who co-founded the Tenafly, NJ-based business in 2005.
Jewelry designer Brooks predicts the nature-themed designs will be top sellers this season. "I'm partial to the bumble bee, dragonfly, frog, and flower clips," she says. "They are the perfect accent pieces for spring."
The patent pending LaRo Clip is available in 12 different designs including one specifically for shawls, coats, and wraps. They sell for $75-$115 and can be found at retailers nationwide including trunk shows at Bloomingdales. For a complete list of stores or to carry the line, visit www.laroclip.com.
