MENLO PARK, Calif., March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Two employees of global consulting firm Protiviti have been honored by Consulting magazine as 2016 "Rising Stars of the Profession."
Ashley Cuevas, a director in the firm's Houston office, has been named in the Leadership category, and Madhu Mathew, a senior manager in Protiviti's New York office, has been recognized in the High-Tech Industry category. Both were chosen from hundreds of consultants and join 33 other talented professionals under the age of 35 being saluted.
Cuevas has led consulting teams for numerous client engagements, performing risk and business consulting projects, including ERP implementation, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and IT internal audits. Her exceptional creativity as a manager, which enables her to solve client issues in innovative ways, is also recognized internally where she holds several leadership roles including as a co-lead of the firm's Oracle practice. In addition, Cuevas mentors fellow employees and leads an initiative in her office to foster the growth and retention of women.
An experienced member of Protiviti's ERP Solutions practice, Mathew's primary business focus is on SAP GRC Access Control projects. As a team leader, Mathew was responsible for the recent roll-out of a new security model for a global client on a site-by-site basis, significantly improving the client's security environment and creating key efficiencies. He is greatly valued by his clients for his dedication to client service and by Protiviti leaders as someone who regularly goes above and beyond to meet his clients' needs. Mathew has organized charity events in the New York office as well as participated in volunteer projects including Protiviti's i on Hunger initiative.
