ProfitStars Introduces ECS RDC Conversion
-- New service offers smooth, convenient data migration of existing RDC merchant profiles to Enterprise Payment Solutions --
MONETT, Mo., March 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (NASDAQ:JKHY) is a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry. Its ProfitStars® division announced today the availability of ECS RDC ConversionSM.
As financial institutions begin to replace legacy or first-generation remote deposit capture (RDC) systems, many are faced with the task of manually converting all merchant profiles into their new system. ECS RDC Conversion assists with replacing legacy RDC solutions with functionality that better addresses current payment trends. It migrates all merchant profile data, eliminating the manual transfer to ProfitStars' Enterprise Payment Solutions™ (EPS), an integrated payment processing suite. The service also easily handles acquisition scenarios that involve new or unfamiliar third-party RDC technology.
EPS is currently leveraged by more than 1,500 financial institutions and 500,000 business locations. The engine provides multiple touchpoints through which merchants can process a wide variety of payments, including checks, ACH, and card transactions. A convenient, scalable platform, EPS can be configured to offer as many or as few payment options as desired while maintaining the flexibility to quickly and easily add more options whenever needed in the future.
Hope B. Moore, IT manager and treasury services manager for Oxford, N.C.-based Union Bank, stated, "We wanted our payments platform upgrade to be as seamless as possible – for both our bank and its merchants. ECS RDC Conversion created new profiles for more than 150 of our merchant customers using just a spreadsheet from the old system. It was a refreshingly simple process."
ProfitStars' Enterprise Conversion Solutions (ECS) team offers a strong track record of seamlessly converting and maintaining data from any platform. Its experts have managed data conversion projects for more than 1,000 financial institutions, including more than half of the largest 100 domestic banks. Its team of conversion development staff is the largest in the financial services industry.
Russ Bernthal, president of ProfitStars, added, "Adopting a more sophisticated payments platform can be daunting if financial institutions do not have a data conversion plan in place. ECS RDC Conversion automates previously manual processes in order to meet a business need for efficiency, accuracy and ease in the change. It is part of ProfitStars' ongoing commitment to improve the performance of financial institutions by offering smart business solutions."
