Prince William County/Manassas Convention and Visitors Bureau Hires New Sales and Marketing Director, Mark Kowalewski

MANASSAS, Va., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the Prince William County/Manassas Convention & Visitors Bureau proudly announced the hiring of Mark Kowalewski as the organization's new sales and marketing director.

In this new position, he will provide direction in the creation of strategies and development of comprehensive marketing programs that will integrate sales and marketing resources to maximize efficiencies, while helping the Bureau's newly hired marketing agency, Creating Results, LLC of Woodbridge, Va. to create an effective brand, communications strategy, web site and advertising campaign.  In this role, he will oversee sales and marketing including phases of advertising, public relations, interactive, publications and research.

Kowalewski was most recently the Senior Account Manager at Entertainment Cruises in Washington, DC since his hire in 1996.  In his role there, he led a team of five account managers with annual sales goals of $7.1 million.  During his time there, he served on the National Tour Association's Leadership Team and is currently serving on the American Bus Association's Orientation Committee and will continue to serve both groups.
