Acceleration 2014 is a unique three-day event combining car and bike racing with a two day music festival. The main race attraction of Acceleration 2014 will be the FA1 class (former A1 GP). A full series FA1 cars will compete on ten European circuits. Additional to the FA1 competition there will be races in two car series (MW-V6 Pickup and Legend SuperCup) and in two bike series (ACC European Stock 600 and ACC European Stock 1000). During the races in all five car and bike classes national teams will battle for victory. The races are acknowledged and accredited by FIA.
Acceleration 2014 will be organised on ten European racetracks from the 25th of April (Autodrómo do Algarve, Portimão, Portugal) until the 19th of October (Circuit of Assen, The Netherlands). Acceleration 2014 is a weekend event for the whole family. Training and qualifications are held on Friday and Saturday, races on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday evening the music festival starts with 'CELEBRATE THE 80s & 90s with The Hoff', presented by David Hasselhoff and including a variety of famous international artists, and ends on Saturday with a line-up of popular DJs. All three days are a mix of racing, music, entertainment, and fair ground activities that make Acceleration 2014 into an event for the whole family, all at the racetrack.
During the press briefing all details about Acceleration 2014 will be communicated. Drivers and team managers will be present during the press briefing and available for both interviews and photo opportunities. Also a selection of the artists that form the entertainment line-up will be present.
