WHAT: Press event to publicize the McDonald Case plaintiffs applying for Chicago Firearm Licenses and registering their weapons under Chicago's new handgun ownership ordinance.

In 2008, these plaintiffs along with the Second Amendment Foundation and the Illinois State Rifle Association filed a civil rights lawsuit against the city, that culminated in the recent Supreme Court decision which has ultimately allowed these individual plaintiffs and enabled millions of other Chicago residents to own a handgun in their home for the defense of themselves and their families.
