President Bongo to Open World's First African Citizens' Summit in Gabon May 23 at New York Forum Africa

The world's first African Citizens' Summit will be held on the first day of The New York Forum AFRICA, the world's foremost African business forum, in Libreville, Gabon, May 23-25. Over 1,000 business and political leaders from around the world will participate in this third edition of The New York Forum AFRICA.

The African Citizens' Summit focuses on opportunities for the generation of students that will shortly be entering the workforce. The summit will include an audience of students from local universities and high schools - and will be livestreamed to universities and high schools across the continent.
H.E. Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the Gabonese Republic, will address the Summit, together with H.E. Paul Kagame, President of the Republic of Rwanda, Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, France, and other political, business and cultural leaders.
The event is held under the patronage of H.E. Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of Gabonese Republic, founded by New York Forum Institute Chairman and Richard Attias. Now in its third year, the New York Forum AFRICA brings together heads of state and ministers, private sector leaders, NGOs and investors to debate the economic challenges and opportunities in Africa.
