PowaTag enables consumers to complete transactions anytime and anywhere in just two taps on their smartphone. The platform uses a combination of technology that includes scanning special tags on anything from products to billboards, recognizing digital watermarks in live and recorded audio, Bluetooth beacons and embedded social media links. Payment and delivery details are stored on the platform, enabling users to complete transactions in seconds.
Powa, a Samsung Solutions Exchange partner, has integrated PowaTag into Samsung's booth at NRF 2015 to showcase the platform's instant purchasing power.
"PowaTag has the ability to truly transform the way people shop and engage with brands, so where better to see it in action than in partnership with one of the world's leading technology companies at the biggest event on the retail calendar?" said Dan Wagner, veteran retail expert and founder and CEO of Powa Technologies. "The instant purchasing ability on show here is just a small part of PowaTag's capabilities, but should be a great introduction to how fast and intuitive the application is."
PowaPOS is the first point of sale platform designed specifically for the tablet. The first fully integrated design to incorporate all common retail peripherals, the PowaPOS T25 features a built in thermal printer, 2D QR/barcode scanner, and options custom cash drawer, all with just one power cord. With its advanced, single API SDK, PowaPOS easily integrates with all POS software applications, as well as third party payment devices and PowaTag.
"With PowaPOS, we redefined the way physical retail POS has been done," continued Wagner. "Through partnerships like this one with Samsung, retailers can now have all the reliability and security of a traditional POS system, combined with the power and flexibility of today's advanced mobile and tablet applications and technologies."
PowaTag and PowaPOS are now certified in the Samsung Solutions Exchange, the company's selection of high quality mobile applications for business. Both solutions are featured in Samsung's Executive Briefing Center, showcasing Samsung's vision for the future of business.
Media and attendees of NRF 2015 can experience the Powa products at the Samsung booth, EXPO hall #600.
