PlugShare Furthers Title of World's Largest Electric Vehicle Charging Network System Surpasses 100,000 Users and 11,000 Charging Stations
Xatori releases stats including top 10 EV-ready cities based on extensive charging data
PALO ALTO, Calif., Aug. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Xatori Inc. today announced that PlugShare, the community-driven electric vehicle (EV) mobile and web application to find and share public and private EV charging stations, has further expanded its leadership in the electric vehicle market, growing its charging network to more than 100,000 users and 11,000 charging stations across North America – from an initial 500 stations when the service launched last year.
As the most widely downloaded electric vehicle app on the market, Xatori's PlugShare software has become a valuable source of information on EV behavior. Together with sister app GreenCharge, now free in the iTunes App Store, Xatori can offer unique insight into the nationwide adoption of EVs.
