Mr. Krahe is Director of Assurance and Advisory Services at Holsinger and also serves as Managing Director of SteelGate Advisors™, a multi-discipline investment bank specializing in buy- and sell-side representation.

Tom has over eleven years of experience in accounting, auditing, litigation support, forensic accounting, business valuation, internal control analysis and due diligence. Tom has extensive experience with public and private companies in a broad range of industries including manufacturing, coal, construction, professional services, not-for-profit organizations, healthcare and others. His experience in these areas includes audit and assurance services, business valuation and consulting, fraud investigations, expert witness damage calculations, mergers and acquisitions, fraud risk analyses, SEC compliance, fraudulent conveyances, receiverships and other advisory services.

Tom leads Holsinger's assurance and advisory practice and provides his clients meaningful value through his unique and extensive experience. His background in forensic accounting, business valuation and dispute resolution services provides the owners of small to medium-size businesses with unique insight into risk management, strategic business planning/forecasting, valuation concepts and mergers/acquisitions. At Holsinger, Tom's responsibilities also include internal staff development/training, best practices and quality review of projects and reports.

Prior to joining Holsinger, Tom was a manager with the forensic accounting firm of Gleason & Associates, performing a variety of services including fraud investigations, business valuations, litigation support (expert witness damages testimony) and serving as a court-appointed receiver. Prior to his time at Gleason, Tom spent a combined seven years at Deloitte and a regional accounting firm where he was primarily responsible for managing compliance audits, due diligence, litigation support, internal control analysis and other advisory services.

Tom is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Committed to giving back to his community, Tom currently serves on the board of directors of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Pennsylvania and is the former Treasurer for Choices Pregnancy Center.

Tom resides in Gibsonia with his wife, Amy, and five children: Junior, Keiton, Jackson, Owen and Lucy.
