Piezonuclear "Ultrasonic Cascade Reactor" Was Tested in the UK and Shipped to GDT Tek in California for Final Stage Fitting and Testing at Local Landfill
ORLANDO, Fla., March 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- GDT TEK (OTC: GDTKD) today announced that the first Ultrasonic Cascade Reactor has been shipped from Steriwave GDTTEK Ltd/ Steriwave Hungary Ltd in the UK to California. The Cascade Reactor is a device designed to process liquid biological and liquid chemical wastes using ultrasonic waves that convert the hazardous waste into an insert environmentally safe liquid waste. The Cascade Reactor has been fitted with dozens of transducers and UV technology and successfully tested in the UK, before it was shipped to the U.S. for fitting of OZONE Technology and then start final testing at a California Landfill on hazardous biological liquid waste.
Steriwave GDTTEK JV will then start the second phase of development to set the Cascade reactor to handle all Biological and non biological hazardous liquid waste in order to get the technology certified in the USA.
GDT Tek holds the exclusive sales and distribution rights for all of the USA and Canada of the "Ultrasonic Cascade Reactor," the first Piezo Nuclear Reactor developed by Steriwave-Startec/Steriwave Hungary in Greater London, England of the United Kingdom.

"THE ULTRASONIC CASCADE REACTOR" initially can be sold to industries that generate liquid hazardous biological waste, and at the end of the second design and construction program, the cascade reactor could be placed on almost any landfill or contaminated land for the treatment of biological and non-biological hazardous liquid contaminations, such as leachates from landfills.
President of GDT Tek, Bo Linton commented, "Because of our business model for our waste heat to electricity landfill based plants, we already have relationships with many landfill operations. This allows us direct access to the decision makers at these landfill facilities. This is what gives GDT Tek a competitive advantage for placement of a new technology on a landfill site."
"The GDT Tek 'Phoenix' waste heat to electricity system operated on a landfill facility successfully and without unscheduled shutdown for 5 years. With a record that good it only makes sense that the landfill operators will embrace another one of our environmentally clean technologies," concluded Mr. Linton.
ABOUT SECTION:
GDT Tek, Inc. is an Orlando, Florida-based publicly traded company (OTC: GDTKD) focused on renewable and sustainable energy technologies. The company has licensed patented waste heat to electric power generation technology and is driving its adoption by power plants, landfills and other waste-heat generating industries. GDT Tek's waste heat to electricity systems are powerful enough to serve as a primary energy source, highly efficient, immediately cash-flow positive when installed under a Power Purchase Agreement and are scalable with system sizes from 150 KW/Hr to 5000 KW/Hr currently available. The GDT Tek system has been proven through a long-term five year installation at a San Jose, California-area landfill. Waste heat captured from landfill-generated methane gas generator engine exhaust and radiator jacket coolant systems is used by the GDT Tek system to generate electricity which is then sold to the grid. Professor Robert W. Dibble of the University of California at Berkeley assessed the GDT Tek system and stated that "Of the many technologies that I have evaluated over the course of the past several decades, GDT Tek's heat to power conversion solution has proven to be the most reliable, versatile, efficient, lowest emissions, and overall cost-effective solution available in today's changing world market."
