KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- PerfectServe® today announced that Greg White has been appointed its Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the company's next phase of growth, operations excellence and momentum, expanding its PerfectServe Synchrony™ solution to the health enterprise system, ambulatory and post-care provider markets. White is responsible for driving product innovation, sales, professional services, client services, research and development, and network operations.
"We are fortunate to have an industry executive of Greg's caliber join our executive team," said Terry Edwards, President and CEO of PerfectServe. "PerfectServe is at a meaningful size as a healthcare IT company, requiring different skill sets and functions to support development of our secure mobile care team collaboration and communications platform. With his Allscripts and Cerner background, Greg brings a deep understanding of operations and product selling to hospitals, integrated delivery networks, group practices and other provider market segments. His expertise scaling an organization of sizeable growth to the next level of agility in response to market demands is fundamental in pivoting our business strategy."
White is an accomplished executive with more than 30 years of experience advancing divisions for large healthcare IT companies and international businesses, turning around underperforming divisions and growing early stage companies into maturity. Previously, he was senior vice president and general manager of Allscripts Healthcare Solutions' TouchWorks EMR Division, where his team focused on revenue growth, product quality and Meaningful Use regulatory compliance. He also served in rising leadership roles at Cerner Corporation, most recently as managing director of Cerner Middle East and Africa, Dubai, UAE.
"Greg will be working closely as my partner alongside the senior management team to navigate PerfectServe's transition over the next phase of growth," Edwards continued. "We're at the industry forefront, differentiating our ability to automatically enable workflows to provide connection to the right care team member for any clinical situation, and to extend that capability beyond the four walls of the hospital to all modalities, care settings and stakeholders."
White earned his bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Alabama. In 2000, he was the founder and CEO of Gajema Software, which was sold to Cerner Corporation (Nasdaq: CERN) in August 2004. He also founded ExecuTrain of Florida in 1993, recognized as an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Company in the U.S.
