Pepsi Battle of the Bands Mobile Campaign Wins Global Mobile Marketing Awards
SHANGHAI, Nov. 25, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Madhouse Inc. has announced that the mobile campaign it conducted for Pepsi China in 2009 has been selected as the winner of Global Mobile Marketing Awards - Best Use of Mobile Marketing - Cross-Media Integration - APAC.
Each year, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) recognizes leaders and innovators in the mobile marketing industry and honors them at their Annual Awards Dinner & Ceremony. The winners, judged on strategy, execution, creativity and results, highlight mobile marketing industry successes from around the globe.
In the summer of 2009, Pepsi China, together with Madhouse launched a multi-media music revolution "Pepsi Battle of the Bands" campaign featuring a TV reality show by Zhejiang TV, interactive flash video broadcasting on sina.com, and Mobile Video live broadcasting on kong.net to create China's first three-screen integration campaign. The mobile campaign also provided a Pepsi dream band game to connect with both the TV reality show and the internet interactions.
"Mobile has become the most intimate personal device for the youth generation consumer," Interactive Director of Pepsi China, Jason Jiang said. "Pepsi China has been working with Madhouse since 2007. By innovating on mobile media and mobile application development, Pepsi has demonstrated itself as a pioneer brand in China among its target audience."
