Penton's Aviation Week Network & International Aviation Club Name Dave Barger as 2016 Recipient of L. Welch Pogue Lifetime Achievement Award

WASHINGTON, Feb. 24, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Aviation Week & Space Technology, part of Penton's Aviation Week Network, and The International Aviation Club of Washington, D.C. (IAC) jointly announced today that renowned international airline executive and aviation safety advocate Dave Barger is this year's recipient of the prestigious L. Welch Pogue Lifetime Achievement Award.

Barger joins a long line of preeminent Welch Pogue Award winners who have helped shape modern commercial air transportation. He will be honored at the Annual L. Welch Pogue Award Dinner in Washington, D.C., on June 1, 2016 at Jones Day, 51 Louisiana Avenue NW, Washington, D.C.
