Payment Alliance International and Planet Payment Announce Multi-Year Contract Extension

LOUISVILLE, Ky. and LONG BEACH, N.Y., March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Payment Alliance International (PAI), the nation's largest privately-held ATM provider, and Planet Payment, Inc., a leading provider of international and multi-currency payment processing services, today announced a multi-year contract extension for PAI's real-time dynamic currency conversion (DCC) solution for ATMs powered by Planet Payment. PAI and Planet Payment have been partners since 2012.

Dynamic Currency Conversion provides international travelers the convenience of withdrawing U.S. dollars from an ATM, while seeing the amount debited from their account in their home currency.  Designed to improve the ATM experience for those traveling abroad, ATMs with DCC allow international cardholders to instantly view, select and better understand how the U.S. dollar amount dispensed at PAI's participating ATMs converts to their home currency. In addition to a better cardholder experience, the solution creates extra revenue opportunities for both PAI and its Market Partners.
