"Paul Mitchell schools believe giving back is not just a once-a-year happening; it's our daily duty," says Paul Mitchell The School Dean, Winn Claybaugh. Paul Mitchell schools nationwide raised nearly $1 million in 2009 on behalf of organizations like Larry King Cardiac Foundation, which provides funding for lifesaving treatment for individuals unable to receive needed treatment, as well as Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation, which provides vital education and empowerment to a growing population of family caregivers, and resources for those newly diagnosed with chronic illnesses through community-centered, Leeza's Place locations.
At Paul Mitchell schools, the teaching style is unique. Staff members believe education is an adventure and the experience should be fun.
