Parametric Names James Barrett Managing Director, Institutional

SEATTLE, Jan. 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Parametric today announced the hiring of James Barrett as Managing Director, Institutional.  In this newly created role, Mr. Barrett leads a team of product specialists supporting Eaton Vance institutional sales and marketing teams targeting both US and Non-US investors.  Parametric manages over $10 billion in institutional client assets across several investment disciplines and is in the process of launching a number of new strategies expected to have institutional appeal.

Mr. Barrett joins Parametric from Russell Investments where he held the position of Managing Director, Business Development—Americas.  Mr. Barrett also served as a member of the institutional investment group's senior management team overseeing Russell's institutional business.
