Pampa Energia Informs Technical Fault in the Steam Turbine at Loma de La Lata Power Plant
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, Feb. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Pampa Energia S.A. (NYSE: PAM; Buenos Aires Stock Exchange: PAMP) ("Pampa" or the "Company"), informs that due to some technical faults detected in the Steam Turbine unit, which composes part of Central Termica Loma de la Lata S.A.'s installed capacity expansion project, the commissioning for the commercialization of the combined cycle has been postponed. While neither the necessary studies to determine the precise causes of the technical faults nor the actions needed to resolve them have been concluded, it is estimated that the commercialization will be able to occur between the next 60 to 90 days, approximately.
