Actiance and PageFreezer together conquer social media compliance through archiving technology that automatically captures webpage links shared within social media posts. This capability comes as a result of, Actiance integrating PageFreezer's API to capture linked third-party web pages in their Socialite platform.

The transient nature of social media channels, such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter, creates unique regulatory compliance risks and added strain on legal and IT departments. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) recently illuminated the fact that linked content in social media posts can be considered an endorsement and is subject to legal implications.
