PA Gaming Control Board Cancels Hearing Due to Impending Inclement Weather
MOUNT POCONO, Pa., Feb. 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Thursday, February 25, 2010 Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board public hearing for Mount Airy Casino Resort's request for authorization to conduct table games has been postponed due to the expected hazardous conditions in the Mount Pocono area from the impending snowstorm.
The meeting will be rescheduled and an announcement will be made when a new date and time is determined.
"In an abundance of caution, we felt it was best to postpone the public hearing," said Gaming Control Board Executive Director, Kevin O'Toole.
The next scheduled meeting of the Gaming Control Board will be Wednesday, March 3, 2010 in PUC Hearing Room #1 in the Keystone Building in Harrisburg.
