PA Department of General Services to Auction Vehicles April 16
HARRISBURG, Pa., April 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- A total of 550 vehicles will be available for public bid on Monday, April 16, the Pennsylvania Department of General Services said today.
The one-day auction will start at 10 a.m. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at noon. All revenue generated will be returned to the commonwealth.
Vehicles being sold are those formerly used by state agencies or seized by state law enforcement agencies. They include makes such as Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Jeep, Lexus and more.
The April 16 auction will also feature motorcycles from manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson, Honda and Yamaha. A Vento scooter and Yamaha ATV will also be available.
The auction will be coordinated by Manheim Auto Auctions, located at 488 Firehouse Road, Grantville, PA 17028. Buyers may purchase with cash or certified funds in the form of money orders, cashier's checks, certified checks or bank checks – all made payable to "Manheim Central Penn Auto Auction."
