PA Cyber Charter School begins enrolling students for 2012-2013 school year
MIDLAND, Pa., April 25, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, the state's largest and most successful public online school, has scheduled 11 enrollment events in communities across Pennsylvania during the month of May as it begins accepting new students for the 2012-2013 school year.
"Parents considering cyber charter school for their children should attend an enrollment seminar as soon as possible to become informed," said Dr. Nick Trombetta, CEO. "We do not accept enrollments over the telephone or Internet. It's important that students and parents sit down with our admissions counselors to learn what is expected and to have their questions answered in person."
Dates and locations for the month of May are: May 1 - Monroeville; May 3 - Indiana; May 7 and 8 – Bloomsburg; May 8 – Greensburg; May 10 – Washington; May 15 - Wilkes-Barre; May 16 – Tannersville; May 23 – Harrisburg; May 24 – Philadelphia; May 29 – Erie; May 31 - Grove City. Scheduled dates and locations for June, July and August will be posted later on the website, www.pacyber.org.
Parents may also schedule enrollment appointments at the main office in Midland, support centers in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Harrisburg, or satellite offices in Pittsburgh East Liberty, Pittsburgh Northside, Greensburg and State College.
Families may call 1.888.PACYBER (1.888.722.9237) to schedule appointments at enrollment seminars or offices near them. Preregistration is required; appointments at each site are limited.

Parents will need to bring the following documents to their enrollment appointment:
- Student's Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency (one of the following: a mortgage statement, school tax statement, real estate tax statement, per capita tax statement, or current utility bill.)
- Parent/guardian's Pennsylvania driver's license or government issued I.D. (must match the address on the proof of residency)
- An updated and complete set of the student's immunization records
- The student's unofficial transcript (grades 7-12) or report card (grades 1-6)
- IEP/GIEP evaluation reports, if applicable
- Name and physical address of school district of residence
- Name and address of school student is currently attending
