NEW YORK, June 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- OUTFRONT Media Inc. (NYSE: OUT) today announced the appointment of Bill Apfelbaum to the Company's Board of Directors.
Mr. Apfelbaum has enjoyed an impressive career in the advertising business, spanning over thirty-five years in the out-of-home and transit advertising industries. From 2001 to 2011, Bill served as Chairman of Titan Outdoor Advertising, a company he founded in 2001. He served as the President, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of TDI Worldwide Inc. ("TDI") from 1989 to April 2000, where he successfully restructured and grew the business, and coordinated its sale in March 1996 to Infinity Broadcasting, which later became part of CBS Corporation. Prior to joining TDI, he served as the President of Gannett Transit (formerly New York Subways Advertising Co., Inc.).
Mr. Apfelbaum is currently a venture partner at several private equity firms, and serves on the boards of a number of their portfolio companies. His public speaking engagements have included guest lectures at New York University, Columbia University, the London Business School and the Harvard Business School.
In 1996, Mr. Apfelbaum founded the Apfelbaum Family Foundation, through which he donates time and funds to various charitable organizations.
