One Month Left to Register for the Fourth Annual Healthcare IT Marketing and PR Conference
Leading experts and executives share healthcare B2B marketing, PR, digital strategies and insights across 50 conference sessions
LAS VEGAS, Feb. 10, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The health information technology (IT) marketing and public relations community has less than one month to register for the fourth annual 2017 Healthcare IT Marketing and PR Conference (HITMC). Registration deadline is March 6 for the first-of-its-kind event hosted by HealthcareScene.com. Presenters and keynote speaker Gary Rhoads, the Stephen Mack Covey professor of marketing at Brigham Young University, are set to take the stage April 5-7 at the SLS Las Vegas Hotel.
A recipient of various "Teaching Excellence" awards, Professor Rhoads has taught for universities and companies in Europe and the U.S. He is formerly a pharmaceutical salesperson for Bristol Laboratories and has worked as a sales and customer engagement consultant. Professor Rhoads is an active researcher in sales and boundary spanner performance whose work focuses on factors that influence sales performance, engagement, turnover, burnout, and service quality. He is also the co-author of two books titled "Stop-Think-Lead: Dealing with Critical Situations" in 2014 and "Startup Marketing Essentials: Leveraging Competitive Angles to Make Competitors Irrelevant" in 2013.
The HITMC annual conference unites a large coalition of healthcare IT marketing and public relations professionals to share ideas and experiences, develop new professional development skills and knowledge, and network with peers. All are striving to meet the same goal of marketing to physicians, nurses and other clinicians; health system, hospital and practice leaders; payer executives; and other healthcare constituents.
Participants can select from approximately 50 sessions covering, for example: bringing software ideas to market, building or rebranding an identity, value-based marketing, shortening health IT sales cycles with personalization, content marketing, the pros and cons of outsourcing marketing and public relations from a client's perspective, using provider data to bring intimacy to healthcare marketing, marketing automation, finding real value in social media, navigating the online marketing universe, creating killer customer references, agency reviews, leveraging customer events for better results, real-world marketing for primary care practices, and many more.
"Marketers and growth hackers hoping to educate prospects and customers often discover the abundance of noise in the marketplace encircling nearly every health IT solution, which makes their job even more challenging," said Shahid Shah, publisher of Netspective Media.
"The HITMC conference helps those professionals learn how to focus on customer journeys, understand why some buyers 'buy' while others sit on the sidelines, create marketing strategies that truly generate demand, and produce implementation plans moving the lead generation needle," he continued. "Though digital health marketers' jobs have never been more difficult, our supportive, vibrant community who meets annually at HITMC makes sure no one feels alone or left out."
