On-Demand Home Services Startup IguanaFix Raises $3M From Riverwood Founders and tech angels in Latin America

BUENOS AIRES, Argentina and SAO PAULO and MEXICO CITY, Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- IguanaFix, the leader platform for on-demand services in Latin America completes its USD 3MM A-round, led by Founders of Riverwood Capital and other technology founders and entrepreneurs from Latin America.

IguanaFix provides home improvement and car repair on-demand services in Argentina, Brazil, and Mexico. The company fulfills over 20,000 service requests per month and has a base of over 15,000 service providers.

The company provides B2C services to end-customers and as well as B2C solutions to major retailers in the markets where it operates.

The founder & CEO, Matias Recchia, used to run the Brazilian social gaming giant Vostu. When asked about this new endeavor, Matias explained, "We realized there was an amazing opportunity in front of us in Latin America to help independent service providers connect with a growing number of connected users, with a hyper local business model and a unique digital mobile platform where we create real barriers of entry; we are not a listing service or a classified business, we're Uber for home improvement and related services."

The company says revenues are increasing at a pace of over 30% m-o-m with minimum marketing investment. The company's run-rate has increased ten-fold in the last year.
