Olera® Shortenings and Oils expands its line of 100% Certified Sustainable Palm Shortenings in North America
LONG BEACH, Calif., April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Olera® Shortenings and Oils, food products division of Global Agri-trade Corporation (GATC), announced today it is expanding its line of 100% Certified Sustainable palm based shortenings. With the new launch, Olera® Shortenings and Oils will further elevate its status as a premier brand of cost competitive, certified sustainable, and traceable palm shortenings in North America.
The new Olera® shortenings, available as cubes, flakes, beads, in drums, and bulk, are certified sustainable to the standards set by the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) at Segregated (SG) level. This means that in addition to being non-GMO and PHO-free, Olera® shortenings will contain certified sustainable palm oil. (www.rspo.org)
